Ah I recall how thrilled I was when I initially learned we would have an induction cooktop in our Lucy. I also loved the pots and pan set my husband gifted me. That was until I realized only the two big pans and one large pot worked. My little pan and pot did not. At first I thought to blame the cookware until I researched it (thank you youtube) and it turns out our cooktop does not have enough sensors to recognize the little ones.
This is when I figured I just better get used to only using the larger pots and store or gift the little ones. However time was my friend, I have now browsed and participated in so many wonderful RV Facebook groups. The insight and advice in them is incredible. So I finally thought I ask if there was a way to fix this without having to pay way to much for a new cooktop. It turns out there is, as one wonderful human posted for me a tool that will transfer the heat to any pot or pan. May it be magnetic but to small, stainless steel or Aluminium etc etc.
I then promptly forwarded the Amazon link to my husband and within a couple of days the UPS store handed me my ‘gift’.
This morning I cooked our first eggs in the little pan and I am thrilled I did not give them away. Honestly, with everything I have faced in life one would think I know by now that every problem has a solution. We might not always like the solution but there always is one, but this one I love.
