Virginia Beach - Time With Friends
The reason we even ended up in Virginia Beach was our whole travel purpose in meeting up with some of Ron’s friends from years back.
As mentioned before Ron and Graham flew together at Gem State and Golden Air. I met Graham almost 25 years ago for a few seconds at a Reunion in Las Vegas but I had not met his beautiful wife Wendy yet.
Both were two most wonderful hosts and we enjoyed a fun lunch, Halloween and Dinner together during our stay here. It was absolutely lovely and fun.
I love Halloween and was bumped out when I learned the State Park won’t have any trick or treaters. Wendy and Graham were kind enough to invite us over to join them as they throw a most wonderful neighborhood get together at their place. They put out a table that holds everyone that comes over baskets with sweets and then there is a cooler with drinks for the wary parents that pass on by. Beer, wine or something stronger. Perfection.
For us they had clam chowder or tortilla soup. I loved it so much and had so much fun. Sadly Ron missed out as he wasn’t feeling good.
Overall I am so grateful to Graham and Wendy for taking the time for us and inviting us to that beautiful area on this country. Virginia Beach is incredible and the people there are just wonderful.
