Yay, we set our Alarm this morning so we could finally move on in our adventures. We are not truly people who set an Alarm but in this case we were aiming for a Harvest Host that offers three spots with 50 amp electric for the first three that arrive. They can manage five RV’s but only three can get power. Let’s say having the chance to get power instead of needing to run our generator was a huge motivator to get our butts out of bed by 6 am.
Well, we were both kind of shocked to see that it was already light outside and no flashlights required ππππ
So yes we wanted to arrive there early as their reservation even says ‘the early bird gets the worm’ but we did have one self inflicted handicap on our move east. We decided a few weeks back that we will not be using Interstates and Toll Roads. So our Trucker GPS as well as our phones are programmed to avoid those roads. This meant we were traveling on Country Roads, traversing and winding our way through small, lovely towns. It was beautiful and much more scenic but admittedly added a bit of time to our travels.
This said we still made it! We are tugged in and are hooked up. Both our A/Cs are running and we are staying cool.
We are hoping to see some training sessions but with us arriving on the weekend we might be out of luck….
