Maine ❤️ Not Just Shenanigans but Work Is Always Following Us As Well

Sometimes I get a tad worried that I get carried away with only talking about the places we travel to and the things we do. 

Since this is not a vacation we are on, but our life, there of course are days we get to work on our ‘honey do lists’. Just as in a house or apartment one has to clean, focus on office work or repairs.

It was Ron’s turn to do some heavy lifting while we were camping in Calais. When we were in Idaho last year our bedroom slide awning took a hit due to the ice and snow. However it didn't become visible until a few months ago when we acquired a small leak at of the side if the slide. We were able to put a temporary fix to it but it was time to get to the root ‘roof😉’ of the problem.

For two days my husband went up and down the ladder more times then I like to recall. It took some heavy lifting and balancing to get the awning back attached and lined up. I am thrilled to say that so far no more leak and we did have some rain. Well more fog then rain but I am sure we will still find us some rainy days ahead.

Which is another point. We look for even temperate climates on our travel slelections but nothing is ever foolproof, right? Which means rain is usually a gift to me to focus on inside work as in cleaning and office work. Or baking which is always my go to.
