Today was a travel day and we moved from Sarasota to Crystal River, the home of the Manatee. Just 2 hours north with just one stop to get Lucy fed.
We chose to go on 275 instead of I75 as we wanted a more scenic route. That meant we had to cross the Sunshine Skyway Bridge into St. Petersburg.
We were warned that this bridge is not good for those who don’t like heights, which is not one of our issues, but also it is very hazardous in cases of high wind.
I was the lead car again in Rosalina and all felt smooth. I wish I had been behind Lucy however as to video her climb over the bridge. All went nicely and we arrived at our new spot for the next three nights without much trouble.
We had a quick lunch and set up and by then the wind picked up something fierce as in 19 mph right now. I did ask Ron how the drive was for him and he said it was a tad windy which I admit I felt nothing off in Rosalina. Figures 😉
