Texas - JBSA Lackland FamCamp

We made it on the base today and thanks to Niki for once again being an incredible Pilot Car Driver and guiding Lucy and us through another busy busy San Antonio traffic. We did go under several not do tall bridges, as Lucy clears at just a bit under 14’ feet and some of those underpasses came in at 15’ feet. The nerves those truck drivers have keeps amazing me.

The Airforce base we are staying on, thanks to Niki again, is very nice. Lots to do on the base and many walking trails for me to take the pups on. However, we are very unschooled in certain military manners as at 17:30 Taps was played and I tried to stand at attention but I had Keetna howling the whole time on one hand and a bag full of poop in the other. Quiet a sight. On the bright site I am getting lots of walking in and I love it.

Tonight we are in the overflow lot as the campground is full but we might get a spot tomorrow at noon which will have full hookups.

It was actually for my Texas memories a cold day here today. High was 13’Celsius and low 6’Celsius. However I saw we are a lot warmer then those CO peeps.

As to our four legged babes they all seem happy with were they are and are getting to know each other.
