Texas - No RVing Is not boring….but more relaxing.

 

Today we got our new ‘permanent’ spot for Lucy. We are so lucky we got a spot which is a pull through as well as being next to a field to walk our babes. The whole move took not much time and she is now fully hooked up which means no more generator running. Plus plenty of water. 

We had planned to go back to Niki’s to do more unpacking, however last night while driving home the break warning light came on in Rosalina so we were homebound today. Ron got her an app with the Audi dealership tomorrow morning and I have a feeling she will need new brakes and it’s going to be a tad costly. So even when on the road, normal everyday stuff happens and since Rosalina is the only way for us to get around her well-being matters a lot.

As to the weather it was absolutely gorgeous today. Warm but not hot. We do have a high wind weather advisory for tomorrow plus rain and cooler temps.

I cooked my first meal in Lucy today and kept it simple with Spaghetti Bolognese and a salad. The induction stove is wonderful even if it seems to have a mind on its own. It kept lowering the temperature even though I wanted it higher. Oh well…..

So we had plenty to do today but it all felt more relaxed then any work we ever faced when we had the house. It seems things are much more contained and manageable now which makes everything seem calmer. I love ❤️ it.
