A down day today and catching up on getting rest. We stayed out with our breakfast eggs and pancakes as this has been our Sunday tradition for many years. Today I also got to try out our onboard washer and dryer which worked like a charm, which makes me happy.
We napped and chilled and then this afternoon took a lovely walk around the airplanes that are displayed in a very pretty park like setting.
The one thing we are realizing is that our ‘little’ stinker Keetna needs to fresh up in his walking manners. All he knows is 4 wheel drive, full speed ahead. I figure I have to put some work in but to also get him tired first so I might start trying to ‘jog’ again and exercise him first. This will be interesting as this girl hasn’t ran anywhere in many years. But heck, being on the base kind of motivates one in doing something as you see people here being fairly committed to being in shape 😂
While Keetna pushes onward we also have of course Oliver who most of the time does the reverse. He likes going backwards thanks to being afraid of anyone or anything (like a balloon on the grass or statues of war dogs - which I guess seem beyond intimidating to Oliver).
